Freelance Journalist

I am a freelance journalist with a preference toward features and more creative narratives. I have a passion for stories that can evoke emotion and even bring on change. I have five years of experience in both reporting and editing from the newspaper desk to magazine production. Along with my writing career, I also have a passion for advocacy work, serving communities and causes I'm most passionate about including mental health awareness, environmental justice, social justice and human rights.

I graduated Cum Laude and earned my Bachelor of Science in journalism from Kent State University in May 2021. Additionally, I also have minors in psychology and advertising and a vast array of skills and interests to showcase and continuously refine.
